The “Soul Food for Thought” Dinner Show will take place on Saturday, March 21 from 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM in the California Ballroom at the Marina del Rey Marriott. Admission and a delicious vegan dinner is included for all summit GREEN level ticket holders. Special dinner show tickets may become available for purchase separately – check this page for an update in the near future.
Speakers, music, and food!
Admission to the dinner show Saturday night and a delicious Ethiopian feast are included for all GREEN level ticket holders. The evening, co-hosted by Olympic athlete and actress Seba Johnson and bodybuilding champion Kenneth G. Williams, will feature renowned vegan MD’s Milton Mills and Anteneh Roba, who will talk about traditional African diet, the effects of today’s standard African-American diet on community health – and the environment in Africa, and the slave dungeons of West Africa – and finding meaning for today. Babette Davis, chef and owner of Stuff I Eat restaurant in Inglewood will talk about her journey to veganism and her successful vegan restaurant. Musical performances will include LAMOUR & THE MYSTIK BAND, and popular rapper Vegan Boss.
